So, you want to more about me, huh? Well, my full name is Patch O'Black,
but most people call me Patchy. I am a Jellicle cat. What is a Jellicle
cat? Most people would say that a Jellicle cat is what T.S. Eliot wrote
poems about in his book 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats', which in
turn were used as the basis for the musical CATS! I hear it has done
yery well, being the longest running musical on a street called Broadway.
I am part of a family of four. My father, Fogbrow, is the ruling King of
the Jellicle cats. My mother is Nightmask, and my brother, Starpaw, is the
first, or crown, prince. I'm the second prince. I'm also in exile. Here's
how that happened:
All memebers of the royal family must undergo a LifeQuest. Mine was to find
a magical artifact called the Grace Gem. However, after I found it, I was
then ordered by the Counsel of People to use it to completely distroy our
long-time enemies, the Pollicle dogs. Refusing to commit genocide, I was
declared a traitor and exiled. Well, that was a few years ago and now I
happily wander the mucks! Need to know more? Just catch me when I'm about,
I would love to answer any questions.
Now, the way I look depends on where I am. On the furry-based mucks, I look
like this...
PatchO'Black (Patchy) appears to be at first glance a panther morph.
Looking closer, you see that this is not the case! His ears, though round
for the most part, have a small point at the tops. He is, in fact, a Jellicle
cat, a rare and magical feline. His body is lean and fit, reminding you
of a dancer or gymnist with his flowing lines. He has snow white fur, with
a white mane flowing down to bit below and around his shoulders. His eyes
are a light blue and his tail is curled slightly at the end to keep it form
draging on the ground. He wears a brown sports-type vest with several pockets
on it. A patch reading "The Lion King" is sewn on the right chest
area. On the back is a picture of Simba as an adult. Under that he wears
a casual yellow knit shirt with a turned-down collar. He also has on a pair
of tan slacks. He wears no shoes, as his paws have pads that protect him
well enough. As he moves, you sense a grace about him. He runs a hand through
his hair and smiles.
If you will notice, I am wearing a Lion King vest, but most people
who have sketched me don't know what the patch on the front looks like,
or the image on the back. They look like this:
Now, on the anime mucks, I look like this:
You see what appears to be a teen-aged boy, about 17 years old. He
has dark hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He has an athletic built, and a
graceful manner about him. Then you notice something new...he has two little
cat ears peaking through his hair, looking like a combination of a panther
and a housecats, rounded with a small point. Also, behind him is a long
feline tail, curled a bit to keep it from dragging. Both ears and tail are
covered with short white fur. He is currently wearing a casual blue shirt
and a grey pair of slacks. On his feet are a pair of black sneakers. He
smiles at you, appear to have an air of goodness about him....
