Snow Leopards
Snow Leopard, Ounce (Uncia uncia): Snow Leopards are native to the cold regions of Central and Northern Asia (the Himalayas and Siberia, for example). They have a typical body length of 0.9 to 1.35 m and have very long, thickly furr
ed tails (~90 cm or more). Snow leopards coats have thick, dense fur. The fur has a smokey-grey or white colour, shaded with dark patches and rosettes. The head is dotted with round black spots. The body is marked with large, somewhat blurred rosettes
among which small, compact spots can be seen.
