A thousand years ago, superstition and the sword ruled.
Stone by day, warriors by night.
Now here in Manhattan, the spell is broken, and we live again.
It was a time of darkness; it was a world of fear.
It was the age of gargoyles.
We were betrayed by the humans we had sworn to protect.
Frozen in stone by a magic spell for a thousand years.
We are defenders of the night. We are gargoyles.

A fanfic series for the TV show Gargoyles centered around one of the little seen and never heard characters, the mutate Claw. A victim of a scientist's experiment in gene splicing, he's lost his humanity... and his voice. In a chance encounter, he makes a friend and his life is once again changed forever.

These stories have a C8 rating (Y7 for you americans :P). It's the same level of stuff that appears in the tv show.
I value the opinion of my readers and enjoy getting feedback from them (both good and bad). For those wishing to comment on these fanfic may email their comments to marlos@geocities.com and I will reply as promptly as possible.
Pt. 1, Silence Speaks: When Claw makes a new friend, the secrets he's kept hidden are revealed. Provides a good synopsis of the relevant events from the television series to allow unfamiliar readers to enjoy it as well. This is my first fanfic work and I'm personally pleased with how it turned out. Hope you like it. (~15 pages)
Pt. 2, Unwanted Attention: In an effort to raise some money for the Labyrinth, Claw and Tara inadvertantly draw a lot of attention to themselves. Friends, co-workers, allies and enemies take a sudden interest. A few nosey questions can be tolerated, but when an old enemy returns for revenge, the hunt is on. (~13 pages)
Pt. 3, In the Forests of the Night: Xanatos has an offer for Claw that he can't refuse. Sent on a quest to regain his humanity, Claw and Tara travel to the jungles of India in search of a mysterious tigerman. (~14 pages)
Pt. 4, Homecoming: When Claw returns to Manhattan, he receives an unhappy homecoming. The landlord had paid a visit to the Labyrinth and Talon wants some answers. Confronted by sorrow, Claw decides he must risk it all for a chance at freedom. (~20 pages)
